QCast Aluminum is a progressive, high–quality manufacturer of aluminum sand castings for commercial industries for over 60 years. The company is capable of producing excellent finishes and sizes of parts, including prototypes and small to large production runs from 1 oz. to 300 lbs. Operations include modeling, core making, melting, rotary degassing, pouring, blasting, drilling, welding, finishing, and assembly.

Located in New Berlin PA., (approximately 60 miles north of Harrisburg, PA) QCast Aluminum manufactures all of our products in the USA. We work with customers to develop a mutually beneficial long-term relationship. We feel that we are an extension of our customers and have a strong commitment and partnership focused on service, quality, deliverability and affordability.

Our Story

QCast Aluminum was established in 1955 in New Berlin, PA, by the founder Robert W. Miller and his son Dale Miller.

In 2018, Matthew E. Haggerty and his wife, Chrissy purchased QCast Aluminum.

The ownership transition began a renewed focus on QCast Aluminum and their long-term growth. We are committed to investing in the future. We intend to make further strategic investments in areas such as:

People, processes, and equipment to strengthen our competitive position
Product innovation to drive the company’s growth
Quality and service initiatives to further solidify our leadership in these areas

Matthew was formerly CEO of Times-Shamrock Communications and Managing Director of Elk Lake Capital. He is a graduate of Villanova University and holds an Executive MBA from Villanova University and a Doctor of Law degree from The Catholic University of America’s Columbus School of Law.

Quality

QCast Aluminum has an excellent reputation for producing quality aluminum sand casting products. Our in-house production and quality team ensure that each part meets or exceeds our customer’s standards through a series of built in quality checks.

At QCast Aluminum we have a Quality Assurance Program that conforms to internal and ISO9001:2008 Systems. Quality is checked at all phases of the manufacturing process including incoming metal, in-process inspection by the operator and final inspection.

We have manufacturing and quality assurance planning reviews on all new parts. We take your designs and provide competitive cost manufacturing for on-time deliverability and quality products.

Our operators are trained on the latest equipment along with procedures and work instructions and inspection equipment to ensure a quality product.
